B9: Optimizing Content Delivery on Open Source Software Platforms


This presentation will focus on how open source software technologies can be optimized for use in content delivery network architectures. Topics will include techniques for optimizing software defined storage, origin servers, and caching servers to support higher levels of quality, efficiency, and reliability. A variety of use cases will be explored, including network DVR and unified video streaming architectures that can serve both traditional set-top boxes as well as Internet connected devices.
